The treatment of older people is an important branch of Chinese medicine and has occupied all of the best doctors over the centuries. This course will discuss the characteristics of older people in Chinese medicine and includes aetiology and pathology. After discussing the role of the Kidneys in aging, the important pathologies of Blood stasis and Phlegm and their role in the diseases of the elderly will be discussed in detail.

- Hypertension
- Coronary Heart Disease
- Stroke
- Dizziness and Poor Memory
- Parkinson’s Disease
This course consists of a nearly 800 slide presentation with video narration, text, diagrams and photos. The treatment discussed includes herbal medicine and acupuncture.
Courses are registered to provide CEUs from the California, Florida and Texas State Acupuncture Boards and NCCAOM. The courses are also approved by the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS), New Zealand Register of Acupuncturists (AcNZ) and New Zealand Acupuncture Standards Authority (NZASA) for the purpose of CPD Category 2.
