The treatment of older people is an important branch of Chinese medicine and has occupied all of the best doctors over the centuries. This course will discuss the characteristics of older people in Chinese medicine and includes aetiology and pathology. After discussing the role of the Kidneys in aging, the important pathologies of Blood stasis and Phlegm and their role in the diseases of the elderly will be discussed in detail.

This course consists of a nearly 800 slide presentation with audio narration, text, diagrams and photos. The treatment discussed includes herbal medicine and acupuncture.
